Why an RVA, Not Just a Checklist:

The RVA Covers Six Core Zones:
1. Perimeter & Approach
Fencing, gates, landscaping sightline gaps, and points of concealment an intruder could use for cover.
2. Entry Point Integrity
Doors, windows, garage, and secondary access — structural condition, not just whether the lock is turned.
3. Lighting & Surveillance Coverage
Dead zones in exterior lighting, camera placement gaps, and blind spots that create a false sense of security.
4. Safe Room / Safe Zone Feasibility
Existing spaces evaluated for hardening potential — is there a room in your home that could become a real safe zone, and what would it take.
5. Emergency Readiness
How quickly your household could respond, communicate, and get to a safe point if something happened.
6. Household Routine Awareness
Daily patterns — deliveries, visitors, predictable schedules — that can unintentionally telegraph when a home is empty or vulnerable.
